Jeff's visit: Turibus

Jeff came to visit me for the week and it was so good to see him!

Saturday we did the Turibus (tourbus) to see an overview of the city. I didn't pick the best day, since a main road was closed for a parade and the Zocalo was closed for a concert, but we still saw a lot!

Among many things, we saw:

the Angel of Independence

the Voladores (flyers) in Chapultepec Park

lots of marigolds along the roads to lead
the spirits home for Day of the Dead

the man-made lake in Chapultepec Park

Chapultepec Castle

the feria of Chapultepec

the Technology Museum

multiple water god statues in Chapeltepec

a man selling LOTS of cotton candy

transportation safety at its finest (at least she was
wearing a helmet)

Palacio de Hiero shopping mall in Polanco

don't remember what it's called, but more shops in Polanco

large GM plant

lots of people that waved at the bus

bull fighting stadium

Cruz Azul stadium

UNAM Olympic Stadium
