Día de Muertos: Megaofrenda at UNAM

This year UNAM's Megaofrenda for Día de Muertos was dedicated to Argentine write Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), so there were lots of references to him and his work. Each ofrenda was made by a facultad or school within UNAM (ex: Economics, Engineering, Psychology), a high school, etc. We went the night of the 2nd and it was packed with people visiting the ofrendas. There were a couple live bands, food and drink for sale, and a decent number of people in costume (most as variations of skeletons, La Catrina, etc).

Borges
