Family's Visit: Hotel Geneve

While my family visited in November we stayed at the Hotel Geneve. This historic hotel opened in 1907. It was the first hotel in the DF to receive women traveling by themselves, as well as the first hotel  in the DF to offer taxi service, a cleaner's, a tennis court and a barber shop, and have a phone and bathroom in every room. Apparently, the day the Mexican Revolution began (November 20, 1910), Porfirio Diaz had lunch there with his family.
