Family's Visit: UNAM and Coyoacán

On my family's last day in the DF (in November) we visited the UNAM and Coyoacán.

We ate at Corazón de Maguey, a mezcalería (aka known for it's mezcal -- an alcoholic beverage made from the maguey or agave plant) which had lots of options of mezcal served on its own or in cocktails and gourmet twists on typical Mexican foods.

Cochinita pibil - a slow-roasted pork dish
